The World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) is an initiative by Alibaba Sports Group (Alisports), established by the Alibaba Group to spearhead the development of e-sports on a global scale.
The WESG has gone through multiple iterations since its inception and they are back this year with a total prize pool of US$5.5 million.

The top four teams will advance to the National Finals
Online Qualifiers to be coordinated online by the marshals and tournament organisers with a BO1 Single Elimination Format
NATIONAL FINALS
Champions of each country will advance to the SEA Regional Finals
National Finals to be organised in a local shopping mall with open space for booth and on-ground activation. Final venue to be determined.
SEA REGIONAL FINALS
The top four winning teams for each game title will advance to WESG World Finals
Champions of each country to be flown to the tournament venue (TBD) to compete in a week of competitions
