Malaysia has officially implemented a new voting age of 18 years. It is now important for our youth to be better prepared for the future by being politically literate. Therefore, in conjunction with the Malaysian Parliament’s 60th anniversary and Malaysiakini\u2019s 20th anniversary and in partnership with the Ministry of Education, we are organising an event styled along the lines of a parliamentary debate which aims to give our youth the opportunity to voice out their opinions.<\/p>\n

It is now important for our youth to be better prepared for the future by being politically literate.
